Enable’s recent advances in imaging technologies are helping the company emerge as an industry leader in ground-breaking, low-cost, highly-flexible, miniature imaging solutions.

They are ideal for imaging applications that require excellent image quality with an extremely small cross-sectional profile: for example, medical devices where clinical use could be greatly enhanced with the addition of embedded real-time, low-cost, miniature size optical imaging or industrial applications for accessing narrow conduits or passages without compromising image quality or mechanical flexibility.

Notable recent product releases include:

minnieScope-XS; the world’s highest resolution videoscope for its size with up to 1Mpixel from a construct with less than 1.40 mm diameter. The assembly includes the digital sensor, micro-objective lens, electrical cabling, and illumination fibers.

minnieCam-XS; Includes the digital sensor, micro-objective lens, and electrical cabling, but no illumination fibers. At 1.3mm maximum size with up to 1Mpixel video output, it is the world’s most advanced and compact digital imaging assembly. It is offered at even smaller sizes than the minnieScope-XS, for applications that provide their own illumination.

Corresponding video processing hardware with HDMI or USB3.0 output are also available to display images on a monitor or computer.

lightPort: custom size, high-NA fiber optic cables for illumination applications in endoscopy.

In order to address a broad array of imaging needs, Enable can design and procure custom lenses tailored to your specific imaging requirements without compromising the miniature footprint of the sensor. Same customization applies to the electrical conductors. Additionally, Enable designs and manufactures its own fibers, white-light sources, and waveguides; thus offering a one stop-shop for all your custom micro-imaging and illumination needs.
